The Green Neighborhood Scorecard Committee is comprised of people from a variety of neighborhoods working together to develop a neighborhood assessment tool which will:

• Assess the current "green" score of neighborhoods
• Assess what environmental information/resources are needed by neighborhoods
• Develop practical projects to create "green" neighborhoods
• Provide baseline information by which neighborhoods can gauge their progress

The Green Neighborhood Scorecard Committee has been meeting since January 2008. The First Green Neighborhood Scorecard is scheduled to be launched on 15 April 2008.
